The perfect scenario
Upon
surrendering the vehicle to the valet, six digital shots are taken of the vehicle
just prior to entering the parking facility (claims prevention). Date, time,
valet driver, ticket # and the six images are stored in the database for immediate
look-up. To request a vehicle, the guest may scan the ticket at the request
kiosk located in the lobby, eliminating the need for lines in front of the valet
window. The guest appreciates this ultra-convenient feature and the valet can
focus on moving cars. Six additional images may be taken at the garage exit,
once again date and time-stamping the whole process while recording the driver
I.D. Lost keys can easily be tracked down, simply by looking at the vehicle
data-screens arrival information. The parked-by attendant
is quickly identified.
VIPs may be treated with priority consideration, by causing their retrieval
request to jump to the top of the list automatically. VIPs may also be
identified upon arrival via plate or window decal (using hand-held PC technology).
