The Roney Palace-MiamiThe perfect scenario …

A guest approaches the drive-way. The valet enters the rear-view window visible ticket number (or license plate) into the hand-held PC and recalls the guest information instantly. The doors are opened upon arrival and the customer is greeted by name. Six digital shots are taken of the vehicle just prior to entering the parking facility (claims prevention). Date, time, valet driver, ticket # and the six images are stored in the database for immediate look-up. A history record for each guest is created, tracking each arrival and departure during the guest’s visit. To request a vehicle, the guest may scan the ticket at the request kiosk located in the lobby or use any telephone to access the ultra-convenient dial-up request module. If the guest is checking out, the front desk may flag the vehicle request as part of the check-out process through the HMS interface (such as Fidelio).

The valet may also use CVPS’s service module to schedule and track services such as carwashes, gasoline, etc… .
